The Custom Design Workshop story

Custom Design Workshop emerged from its principals’ love of the arts and decades-long journey designing and crafting both as personal expression and for commission. Owners Elli and Tom Wollangk offer more than 60 years of combined experience in producing and/or sourcing artwork, and they launched Custom Design Workshop in 2005 not just as a place to showcase their own artistic talent, but also as a resource for designers and individuals seeking unique and exceptional original artwork.

		For more than 30 years, Elli Wollangk has designed with textiles, pattern making, and art with paper. Elli has demonstrated her artistic expertise in inlaid carpet, specialty textiles, paper-cutting, chip carving, block printing and painting. She brings a flair for design and an eye for detail to Custom Design Workshop.

		Tom Wollangk has been a hobby photographer, wood carver, and artist for more than 30 years. However, it is his strong manufacturing and engineering background that make Custom Design Workshop more than just a workshop: It’s also a reliable source for high-quality products produced in a timely manner and to specification.
