(1945 - ) Oshkosh, Wisconsin
Tom comes by his interest and talent in the workshop naturally. His father introduced him to woodworking and art framing projects at an early age. The exploration of photography and theatre set design developed during his high school years. With the acquisition of his own darkroom equipment, Tom began to recognize a unique challenge in the art and technique of black and white imagery.
After sharing his attraction to the camera with his daughter, Melody, he stepped out of the darkroom and into the world of digital - cameras, computers, and giclée (zhee klay) printers.
Tom's first gallery presentation was as the featured artist for Limelite Studios' December 2004 Gallery Walk. Due to the overwhelming success of that series, he became a resident artist.
Tom has an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and a strong manufacturing, engineering and management background. While his primary photographic focus is with architecture, he also understands the commercial needs of product imagery. When Tom can find the extra time, he enjoys sailing and a good cigar.
